What happens when engineering teams put themselves in the shoes of their customers?

HR and L&D leaders: Are your technical teams building products people love or just products that work? Let’s connect and explore how hands-on methodologies can transform how your engineers think, collaborate, and innovate.

Customer Journey Mapping

Fabric, a top commerce platform, embraced LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) to guide their engineers in thinking beyond their team and product silos, to understand how a customer experiences their company’s offerings.

In the LSP workshop, the engineers literally built their customers’ experiences brick by brick. The transformation was immediate and profound:

– Engineers who once spoke in features now spoke in customer needs – because they physically constructed the barriers between themselves and users, barriers they became determined to demolish.
– Remote teams began connecting ideas across departments, creating a unified customer journey map.
– Technical minds discovered that creative, tactile problem-solving unlocked solutions that endless Zoom meetings couldn’t!

150 HR leaders at Alstom built their shared vision and aligned teams, at this LEGO® Serious Play® workshop facilitated by us. L&D leaders are using this powerful, experience-based workshop to:
– Kick off strategic offsites with fresh energy.
– Strengthen team collaboration and psychological safety.
– Make people more receptive to organizational change.
– Let the creativity and new ideas flow.

LSP is designed to get people out of their corporate headspace, sparking creativity and genuine connection. Ready for an offsite that makes a real impact? Let’s build it together.

A LEGO® Serious Play® workshop for LinkedIn’s brilliant engineering team! It was incredible to witness how these talented engineers used LEGO® bricks for strategic decision making. The energy in the room was electric as they simulated the product design and development process through creative play.

As teams navigate hybrid work environments and rapid technological change, it’s fascinating to see how the LSP methodology creates a level playing field for everyone to contribute meaningfully to strategic discussions.

In a dynamic 2-hour workshop, over 35 participants (frontline workers, back-end, management and administrative staff) of Shankara Eye Foundation came together to enhance the patient journey, foster interdepartmental collaboration, and collaboratively develop a unified vision, all through the innovative use of LEGO bricks.

This engaging session enabled staff—both new and experienced—to identify patient pain points and strengthen teamwork, aligning seamlessly with Shankara’s commitment to providing compassionate eye care.

Orientation for Interns & New Hires

Wondering how to onboard your next batch of interns?
You’re not alone. Traditional orientations… those slides on values, long talks on culture, product overviews… they rarely land with today’s interns. Gen Z doesn’t want to sit and listen. They want to interact, explore, build, and make meaning for themselves.

So why not give them an onboarding experience that speaks their language?

That’s where Lego® Serious Play® comes in:

1️⃣ It removes the fear of speaking up. When an intern speaks through a model they built, the focus is on the bricks, not the person. It lowers anxiety and increases honesty.

2️⃣ It translates “Values” into “Behavior.” Instead of a slide listing “Innovation,” we ask them to build a model of a time they had to be innovative. Suddenly, you aren’t defining the culture for them; you are co-creating a shared language.

3️⃣ It honours their unique perspective. LSP ensures every single person at the table gets to share their story. For a generation that values inclusivity, this is a massive signal that they belong.

Stop telling them who you are. Ask them to build who we can become together.

As a certified facilitator, I design Lego® Serious Play® onboarding experiences for organisations. If you want your next intern cohort to start with clarity, confidence and creativity, let’s talk.
